before
refrain from alcohol
Consumption of alcohol can increase bleeding and dilute our inks during application. Avoid drinking alcohol 24 hours before the session.
do your skin care
Dry skin, sunburn, insect bites, rashes and other skin conditions may affect the tattooing process. Use moisturiser and sunscreen to protect your skin, and inform your artist if you have any skin conditions that may be of concern.
eat & hydrate
Have a light meal and stay hydrated before your session. Hot weather, dehydration, and an empty stomach is a bad combination for a tattoo session—you might pass out! Light snacks, water, and sweet drinks are available in the studio in case you need more.
dress appropriately
Avoid wearing tight-fitting, bulky, or restrictive clothings. Wear or bring something that can comfortably reveal the area that you want the tattoo to be. Check with your artist if you are not sure!
plan your schedule
Tattoos are permanent, and we want to take our time to ensure its quality. Try to keep your schedule open after the tattoo session, or check how long the session may take before making plans. It’s not just about the size of the tattoo—stencilling, and taking breaks need to be factored in too!
during
no numbing cream
We don’t use numbing cream as it poses higher risks of reactions. We use a pain-relief spray sometimes when applicable, but do inform us if you have any known allergies to certain pain-killers.
privacy
We provide privacy dividers and cover-ups for tattoos on intimate body placements. Feel free to request from your artist should you feel a need for them!
entertainment
A tattoo session can take a few hours, so feel free to watch shows or listen to music on your devices. Wifi and charging ports are available. If you find yourself getting restless or bored, you can always request for a break to stretch.
